Legal Risk Assessor

An exceptional opportunity to move into a strategic, non-fee earning legal role with a leading national law firm, whilst continuing to apply their legal expertise in a commercially focused and influential role.

You will be responsible for evaluating the legal and commercial viability of new enquiries, helping to shape the client onboarding process and ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives, to ensure that only appropriate, high-quality cases are progressed.

• Conducting legal success assessments of new clinical negligence enquiries
• Reviewing cases to ensure consistency with internal standards
• Providing real-time legal support and coaching to advisors
• Collaborating with legal teams to refine case selection processes
• Sharing commercial insights and identifying process improvements

• 5+ years of clin neg fee earning/file handling experience
• Proven ability to run a full caseload
• Qualified or equivalent experience in private practice
• Expertise in clinical negligence or personal injury claims
• Strong commercial awareness and a sound understanding of legal risk assessment
• Confidence working with digital case management systems
