Litigation Associate – Manchester

A well-established specialist commercial law firm is looking to appoint a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with proven asset based lending experience to join its growing technical litigation team.

The firm advises banks, lenders and financial institutions on a wide range of complex matters across asset finance and asset based lending
, acting throughout the full credit lifecycle. The team is known for handling technically challenging and defended cases, including enforcement of security, guarantee claims, disputed recoveries and associated litigation.

• Managing a caseload of complex and defended asset based lending matters
• Advising on enforcement, recoveries, guarantees and security issues
• Handling litigation from instruction through to resolution, including court attendance where required
• Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercial solutions
• Supporting and supervising junior team members where appropriate

• A qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
• Strong and demonstrable asset based lending experience is essential
• Experience with in asset finance recoveries and/or complex litigation
• Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and client-facing skills
