Placing the best legal talent in law firms in Defendant Injury & InsuranceA leading Legal 500 firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss team in Manchester.
This role offers a rare blend of flexibility, variety and professional challenge, ideal for a driven litigator who thrives in dynamic, fast‑paced environments. You’ll work across multiple teams within the firm’s Catastrophic & Large Loss practice, gaining exposure to high-value claims spanning motor, EL/PL and indemnity matters.
You’ll handle complex personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries, fatalities, brain and spinal cord damage, amputation and chronic pain on behalf of major insurers, corporates and public sector bodies.
The role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise across multiple specialisms, develop client relationships and work on a mix of interim and fixed‑term assignments that can be tailored around your preferred working arrangements.
The Ideal Candidate- Solid background in defendant personal injury or large loss litigation
- Strong adaptability and confidence working across varied case types and teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Client‑focused approach with proven ability to meet SLAs and deliver commercial results
- Enjoys a challenge and thrives in a flexible, collaborative environment
- Competitive salary up to £55,000 DOE
- Hybrid working (2 days office / 3 days home)
