The role is based within the Renewals team, dealing with a wide variety of Social Welfare risks, thus a chance to be involved with some extremely interesting commercial insurance cases.

It is NOT essential that you have previous experience within Social Welfare / Care insurance as full training will be provided. However, you must have extensive underwriting experience encompassing Property And /OR Liability.

We will consider applications from both current Senior Underwriters, as well as Commercial Underwriters who are looking to set up into a Senior Underwriter position.

Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, underwriting renewal cases, collaborating with the Claims team, as well as developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business. You’ll provide a first-class service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. Being a growing business that very much listens to, and implements employees’ great ideas and suggestions, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference.
