Commercial Corporate Account Handler

Salary:
Up to £50k plus bonus and benefits

Location:
Manchester (Hybrid)

Purpose of Role

Lawes Consulting Group are partnering with a well‑established and very well‑respected Manchester Broker to add to a strong and growing team in the city centre. This is a great opportunity for the individual to have a clear progression route to step into an Account Executive role with clear path of leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to new business enquiries, gather required information, and support the preparation and presentation of quotes.
  • Deal with MTAS, Renewals
  • Liaise with insurers to secure competitive terms that align with client needs and expectations.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring all documentation and communications are accurate, timely, and professional.
  • Support early-stage client relationships by identifying opportunities for additional coverage and helping to create a smooth and positive customer experience.
Day to Day
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with insurer partners.
  • Assist in market presentations and negotiations under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • A clear path of progression to step into an Account Executive role
Experience
  • Proven experience in a commercial insurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK commercial insurance products.
  • Confident communicator with excellent client‑facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Cert CII qualification desirable (or willingness to work toward it).
  • A proactive, driven, and customer‑first mindset.
