A fast-growing, innovative Fin Tech is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join their Manchester HQ and support their global operations. Technology sits at the heart of this business. It underpins everything they do. This is a hands‑on, operationally critical role where you will become the backbone of IT for a close‑knit user base of under 100 people worldwide.
You will be a self‑starter who is happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. The role spans 1st to 3rd line support, with roughly 80% BAU and 20% project work. It is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and visible impact in a scaling environment.
What you will be doing- Delivering 1st–3rd line support across a global user base
- Acting as the operational go‑to for IT queries and escalations
- Supporting and maintaining Microsoft 365, Entra , Windows 10/11, Cisco Meraki and mobile devices
- Managing onboarding and off‑boarding processes end to end
- Supporting Salesforce, the backbone CRM platform for the business
- Driving security best practice, vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives
- Contributing to global IT projects, rollouts and improvements
- 3+ years in IT support or engineering roles
- Strong experience across cloud environments, ideally Azure
- Comfortable owning issues and working independently
- Cyber security awareness or formal training would be a bonus
- IT certifications are welcomed
- Salesforce experience highly advantageous
- Bonus potential up to 15%
- Ongoing training and development support, including cyber security accreditation
