The degree apprenticeship with University Sheffield Hallam is a 3
-year course in which you will study part time alongside your full-time role. You’ll have an initial 10-week bootcamp on campus. You will cover many modules such as Software lifecycle, System Context, Leadership & Design approaches. The degree includes a final stage project in conjunction with Capgemini’s business.

During your first week, you will meet inspiring individuals, witness our team dynamics, and explore the stimulating projects that will influence your career. We are committed to supporting all our apprentices in developing their personal brand and exploring innovative thinking methods that will drive the solutions we deliver to our clients.

** Your role

We are looking for tech passionate individuals who want to start their career as an apprentice in the IT industry. You will be joining a business area working for our largest UK public sector client working with inspiring experts from which you can learn from and enjoy the career opportunities this brings.

You will be joining a community of Graduates and Apprentices across the business. On joining, you will be assigned to start in one of the following roles.
** Functional Consultant within Oracle & Workday Technologies (ERP)*
* • Candidates will have a passion for technology and relish the opportunity to work on projects helping to guide and transform how our global clients manage and operate, streamlining processes and enhancing business operations.
** Technical Consultant within SAP*
* • Candidates will have an interest in designing, building & testing SAP Code, SAP interfaces, migrating data to SAP data and/or SAP cloud-based technology.
** Functional Consultant within SAP*
* • Candidates will have an interest in designing, building, testing and implementing SAP transformations for our clients and/or in learning to manage SAP Projects.

You will need to be based within a commutable distance to your chosen office where you should expect to typically be in our office 3 days a week.##
** Your skills and experience
** To be eligible, you need:7 GCSEs including Maths and English grades 4-9

Plus, one of the following:
• 3 A
-C at A-level (

NOTE:

AS Levels are not included)  
• Completed Advanced Apprenticeship  
• BTEC (Pass, Pass, Distinction minimum)
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
** Your security clearance
**** Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
** To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo  checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
