Site Reliability Engineer Trainer​/Coach

Position: Site Reliability Engineer Trainer / Coach
We are hiring for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Subject Matter Expert / Coach to play a key role in shaping and scaling SRE capability across my client's business. This is a 3 month Contract based in Cheshire on a hybrid basis - 3 days per week in the office. The SRE Expert / Coach will lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced SRE training programmes and technical bootcamps, supporting the adoption of SRE principles across engineering, operations, and product teams.

Responsibilities include:

- Design and deliver progressive, hands-on SRE training and bootcamps (foundation to advanced).

- Facilitate in-person and virtual bootcamps, workshops, and awareness sessions.

- Provide embedded coaching to support SRE transformation initiatives.

- Tailor content for multiple platforms and environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Private Cloud).

- Conduct capability assessments and design targeted learning pathways.

- Mentor SREs and engineering teams on reliability engineering, automation, and incident management.

- Guide teams in defining and implementing SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.

- Promote best practices in observability, monitoring and incident response.

- Create and curate e-learning content, assessments, and certification pathways. Skills and Experience required:

- Proven experience as an SRE, SRE Coach, or Reliability Engineering specialist in large- scale environments.

- Strong cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Deep understanding of incident management, RCA, and reliability engineering.

- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering technical training or bootcamps.

- Familiarity with Google SRE, Dev Ops, and ITIL frameworks. Please apply for immediate interview!
