About the roleWe are looking to recruit a SOC (Security Operations Centre) analyst to join the existing Sec Ops team of Cyber Security professionals. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual. We seek a talented Operations Analyst to join our dynamic security team. If you are passionate about cybersecurity, possess strong analytical skills, and have a commitment to protecting digital assets, we want to hear from you.
Previous experience would be beneficial; however, training will be provided.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents through to resolution, collaborating with other Digital Data andHerr Statistics teams.
- Support data breach monitoring and reporting.
- Conduct threat hunting, security assessments, and vulnerability scans, performing analysis of threat patterns.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Monitor and secure networks, infrastructure, and endpoints.
- Monitor and manage SIEM alerts, email security and antivirus systems.
- Knowledge of IT, networking, and cyber security principles.
- Experience using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
- Experience with security tools, monitoring, and incident response.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure/M365, security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+) and 2 + years of experience (desirable).
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and detail‑oriented.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable, customer‑focused, and eager to learn.
