Data Business Analyst – 3 Month Contract – Manchester (Hybrid)

VIQU have partnered with an NHS client seeking a Data Business Analyst to support the early stages of a major Data Platform Programme.

The successful Data Business Analyst will work alongside the Project Manager to define the requirements, architectural considerations and high‑level design for a new next‑generation data platform.

This role sits at the early discovery and pre‑procurement phase. You will lead requirements gathering, understand the current data landscape, document data flows, identify pain points, and work with internal specialists to produce the level of design required for procurement.

• Work with clinical, research and digital stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Map existing datasets, data warehouses, data flows and pain points across multiple systems.
• Support development of the high‑level solution architecture and target‑state data platform design.
• Identify integration, storage, transformation and migration considerations.
• Produce documentation required for procurement, including requirements packs, specifications and architectural summaries.
