Infrastructure Manager

Overview

This organisation are going through a sustained period of growth and are looking for a strong, hands on IT Manager to join a talented technology team. You’ll be a proven leader, with experience of managing medium sized infrastructure and a mixture of IT support / analysis staff. You will also be capable of managing a number of 3rd party suppliers.

• Lead a team of infrastructure support staff responsible for a hybrid on-premises / cloud based infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support with project work and incident escalations.
• Manage day-to-day cyber risks and ensure the business operates in line with cyber security requirements, including cyber essentials.
• Coordinate with an outsourced SOC for formal defensive security while maintaining responsibility for day-to-day security activities.
• Work with solid Windows Server, VMware and Azure environments; beneficial familiarity with Network Security, Linux/Unix and SQL Server.
• Manage a number of 3rd party suppliers and relationships.

• Proven leadership experience in managing medium-sized infrastructure teams and IT support/analysis staff.
• Hands-on approach with strong technical skills in Windows Server, VMware and Azure.
• Experience leading projects, handling escalations, and coordinating with external security partners.
• Understanding of cyber risk management and cyber security best practices; familiarity with cyber essentials.
• Peripheral experience in Network Security, Linux/Unix and SQL Server is beneficial.

Salary in offer is between £60-70,000 plus great benefits.
