Working hours: 37.5 Hours per week. Monday – Friday. 09:00 – 17:00.

Do you have good attention to detail, high levels of organisation, customer service skills, and technical understanding? This role combines all of those elements.

Purpose of the post

Act as an interface between the sales team, the end customer and the testing laboratory in the processing of samples, reporting and interpretation of test reports in the Cosmetics & Personal Care Business Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of allocated samples/projects from sales handover to test report creation and client delivery, including physical sample checking, shipping preparation and monitoring, lab liaison, date management and communication.
  • Apply a sound understanding of testing processes to support customer requests and relevant legislation.
  • Support the business unit in delivering customers’ needs and requirements.
  • Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
  • Keep up to date with Eurofins network lab capabilities, expertise and ways of working to ensure efficient processes.
  • Create and maintain appropriate report templates for booked tests, legislation and standard changes.
  • Achieve set KPIs such as on‑time report delivery, report accuracy and customer feedback.
  • Assist in applying best practice and interpretation of results.
  • Build positive relationships and ensure good communication with all relevant Eurofins network laboratories; attend and contribute to lab calls, escalating issues when required.
  • Generate client‑specific reports with conclusions of high quality and technical competence.
  • Understand costing information within the LIMS system and react when data appears incorrect.
  • May be required to work outside normal hours to meet customer requirements, with prior agreement from the Manager.
Qualifications
  • Level 3, A level or equivalent plus at least 2 years of practical work experience in a business‑to‑business customer facing role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages and/or LIMS.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • High level of evidence-based organisation and prioritisation.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Customer facing experience in a business‑to‑business role.
