Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full-time hybrid role.
- Design and implement large scale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency scalability and observability
- Define cloud native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications
Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Create technical design specifications reference architectures and reusable patterns
- Drive adoption of Dev Ops practices CICD pipelines and automation across teams
- Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standardslifecycle
- Cloud Platforms AWS IaaS PaaS Serverless Containers EKS Docker Kubernetes
Databases Strong expertise in Postgre
SQL plus experience with No
SQL Dynamo
DB Document DB - Infrastructure as Code Handson experience with Terraform Git Lab CICD
Microservices Containers Deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and containerized solutions - Dev Ops Tools Jenkins Git Lab and integration with various CICD tools
- Application Design APIfirst and event driven architectures and prior handson experience with Kafka ecosystem
- Observability monitoring Familiarity with tools for logging metrics and tracing specially ELK and observe tools
Soft Skills Must Have: - Excellent written and verbal communication for simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Ability to articulate technical solutions to business leaders and influence decision making
- Proven experience working with global distributed teams in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA Confluence for project tracking and documentation
- Ability to own and drive projects endtoend in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
- Understanding of financial services domain especially credit cards
- Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate preferred
