An Integration Manager is required for our higher education client to lead the integration services and platforms used by the organisation to manage enterprise data. The integration team is responsible for the application development and maintenance of core integration technologies – primarily Boomi, Oracle Integrations, Microsoft SSIS and Software AG Web Methods – and over 800 integration jobs that link internal and external systems.

A new integration/middleware environment called Boomi is being implemented. In this role you will manage the integration engineering team and oversee the development of organisational systems, building automation and continuous integration capabilities.

The Integration Manager will be a strategic, technically proficient leader with substantial experience in enterprise integration technologies and data management. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of middleware platforms, automation, and continuous integration practices and a proven ability to manage complex systems and lead high‑performing technical teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influence skills are essential, as is a commitment to information security, data governance and service excellence.

• Lead and manage the integration engineering team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Design and maintain integration architecture, including platforms and toolsets.
• Oversee cloud‑based integration platforms (e.g., Boomi), API management and workflow automation.
• Lead project and change initiatives, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Implement agile Dev Ops: CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring to streamline delivery.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, manage expectations and provide progress updates.

Advanced ITIL certification; BCS Practitioner Certificate in Systems Integration;
Boomi Professional Developer Certification.
