As an SAP Functional Consultant VIM/Finance (S/4 HANA), specialising in Finance (FI) and Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), you will be responsible for driving critical activities within the S/4

HANA Migration and Conversion program for an IS‑Retail client.

Your role will involve analysing existing business processes, proposing mandatory changes to the solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition from SAP ECC systems to the S/4

HANA platform.

• Lead the full‑cycle SAP ECC to S/4
  
  HANA migration for Finance processes.
• Perform solution design and development, including acting as Solution Architect when required.
• Document business requirements and prepare solution design documents aligned with project standards.
• Responsible for deployment of the FICO module, including requirement gathering, client meetings, realization, and obtaining sign‑off on deliverables.
• Collaborate with the ABAP/Development team to ensure understanding of functional specifications.
• Support Go‑live and Cutover activities to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption.
• Assist testing teams in completing SIT, regression testing, and support users during UAT.
• Knowledge of IDoc and interface management.
• Exposure to cutover strategy, testing, and migration activities.

• Industry experience of SAP Functional Consultant in SAP S/4 HANA VIM/Finance.
• Good understanding of SAP S4 HANA sourcing & procurement capabilities and solution scope.
• Good understanding and solutioning skills in SAP S4 HANA Finance and VIM.
• Strong concepts and in‑depth experience in Retail Master Data.
• Proven capabilities in integrating SAP ECC / S4
  
  HANA with peripheral systems.
• Should have done extensive work on S4 HANA Finance and its integration with 3rd party systems.
• Good with documentation and general Office tools.
• Excellent communication suitable for leading customer facing engagements.
• Should be able to articulate business requirements and propose solutions.
• Experience in Grocery & Food (Convenience) Retail Knowledge.
• Knowledge of Taxation would be an added advantage.
