Talent Manager
Location: Stretford
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will act as a strategic People partner while remaining highly operational – equally comfortable shaping People strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver day‑to‑day HR activity.
Responsibilities- Act as a trusted People partner to the Leadership Team, influencing decisions with a strong people and commercial lens
- Support the embedding of a new MD and leadership structure, helping shape culture, behaviours and ways of working
- Lead delivery of the People agenda across the full employee lifecycle, balancing strategy with hands‑on operational HR
- Operate confidently in a unionised environment, supporting consultation forums and managing employee relations activity
- Lead business change initiatives, providing insight on skills, engagement, reward and people practices
- Prepare for and lead internal and external audits, ensuring legal and policy compliance

Qualifications- An experienced People Lead / Senior HR Business Partner with a strong generalist background
- Proven experience working in fast‑paced, operational environments, ideally within manufacturing or similar settings
- Experienced in unionised environments, including consultation and employee forums
- Confident delivering both strategic People initiatives and hands‑on operational HR
- Experienced in change and transformation programmes, including culture development
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
