Workday Senior Functional Analyst
Permanent: up to 3 days WFH
Location:
Manchester, London, Leeds, Bristol or Staines
Salary: £42 000 - £49 000 DOE and location + fantastic benefits
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities- Be a key contributor on the People Technology team - a strategic team focused on creating a simple, integrated, and digital experience for our people and real time data & insight about our people
- Design and execute system improvements in line with the Continuous Improvement roadmap or through working on People Technology projects
- Understand the core elements of HR and how HR process and technology serves as an enabler for employee experiences
- Responsible and accountable for documenting requirements for Workday changes, driven by Continuous improvement demand and projects in the business
- Complete Functional Requirements Specifications for any system changes that you are designing along with testing evidence before deploying changes into our production environment
- Partner with the business to understand current state and future state ambition. Design improvements to support the achievement of future state
- Cross functional delivery capability, work cross functionally with the Workday consultants to help shape the roadmap and deliver impactful changes to the business
- Release management governance, ensure the team are working within the governance of the People technology release framework
- Troubleshooting ad hoc queries from key stakeholder groups and the business
- Solid Workday knowledge and good understanding of how HR process and delivery works is essential
- An interest and affinity towards technology and how technology can enable process and be used to create better employee experiences
- Ability to problem solve complex adhoc business requirements in order to support the delivery of high value continuous improvement to the business
- Examples of strong analytical and problem solving skills (proficient with Microsoft word, excel and ppt) with evidence of implementing technical changes that have led to a positive business outcome
- A strong sense of team and passion for collaborating with others to deliver an outcome
