Receptionist - DT

Overview

Receptionist, £15,238.08 per annum (£12.21 per hour), 24 hours per week (3 days). We are looking for a friendly, passionate and energetic Receptionist to join our team. First impressions are everything and you will set the tone for every guest’s stay. With a genuinely warm welcome, you’ll be ready with answers to any questions and be able to offer information about hotel services, facilities and the local area.

Anything to help make the guests visit that bit more special. You will be the face of our hotel, not just to guests staying on property but to guests visiting to use our restaurants, bars and meeting rooms. You must have a natural hospitality charm and a passion for service. Ideally you will have experience of working within a branded hotel environment but this isn’t essential and full training will be provided.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days – this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed  you are looking for career training we offer nationally recognized apprenticeships which sit alongside our detailed brand training – you can view the most popular courses on our careers pages.

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly and professional manner and set the tone for their visit.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities and the local area, answering questions and resolving requests.
• Act as the main point of contact for guests checking in/out and for those using hotel restaurants, bars and meeting rooms.

• Experience in a branded hotel environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Flexible to work a range of shifts; availability on weekends and evenings is helpful.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
