Our catering team is looking for a number of Catering Assistants on Full Time and Part‑Time basis.
The Catering Assistant role is an integral part of the catering team and provides a professional, friendly and efficient service to the Academy and support staff at all times. You will be required to provide exceptional catering support, maintaining a clean and presentable food and catering service area at all times ensuring the highest level of standard is maintained.

Your Impact- To prepare the MCFC refectory and/or the Parents Lounge for opening, breakfast, lunch and dinner (where provided) on a daily basis to the required standard
- To provide an efficient and effective service to customers, understanding their needs and requirements, working to exceed these wherever possible.
- To assist where required in the serving of food and drinks ensuring correct portion control.
- To provide a first‑class service for all internal and external events.
- To be confident with lone working where required and work as part of a team to deliver outstanding services.
- To ensure all health and safety standards are maintained and all company policies are adhered to, particularly in respect of food safety.
- Proven experience in a catering or hospitality environment
- Excellent customer care skills. Ability to work under own initiative or as part of a team
- The ability to adapt in a fast paced and changing environment.
- A good understanding of best practise when handling or storing food.
- Relevant food safety certificates
