Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Reception and Lobby areas ensuring the highest standards of service at all times.
- Act as a visible leader on shift supporting, motivating and guiding the reception team.
- Welcome and check-in guests ensuring a warm and seamless arrival experience.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns efficiently and professionally resolving issues to the highest standard.
- Oversee cashiering procedures, billing accuracy and financial controls throughout the guest journey.
- Ensure a positive and lasting impression is maintained at departure.
- Support the training and development of reception team members including new starters.
- Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and health & safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and excellent guest care and social skills, be standards driven and have the ability to use their own initiative and work as part of a dynamic team. Knowledge of Opera is preferred but not required – full training will be provided.
Work HoursShift based work including evenings and weekends.
