Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Chef, working along side the Head chef, requiring a blend of on-site presence in Manchester and remote coordination as needed. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality Kosher meals, planning and executing menus, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and ensuring timely delivery of meals to various venues. The role also involves managing food supplies, adhering to dietary and Kosher requirements, and supporting food preparation for last-minute or emergency orders.
Collaborating with other members of the kitchen team and maintaining high culinary and sanitation standards will be essential responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills, including experience in food preparation and meal presentation
- Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws and ability to comply with specific Kosher food preparation requirements os beneficail but not vital as the nececery trianing will be given
- Excellent organizational and time management skills for menu planning and timely delivery
- Ability to uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff
- Adaptability to fulfill emergency or last-minute meal requests
- Experience in catering or hospitality is preferred
- A culinary certification or equivalent experience is an asset
