Reservations Agent – IHG Hotels & Resorts
A fantastic opportunity for a Reservations Agent to join us at Kimpton Clocktower on a full‑time contract. You will earn £27,900 per annum, plus an on‑target bonus of 10% of the annual base salary. Check out our Instagram page @kimptonclocktower.

- Handle individual enquiries and bookings efficiently and pleasantly.
- Communicate special requests to various departments.
- Provide high‑quality, accurate service for all reservations and keep relevant platforms and systems (including OTA extranets) up to date.
- Check all reservation correspondence prior to arrival to ensure accuracy and maximise occupancy.
- Ensure daily and weekly reservation tasks are completed.
- Ensure all standards and procedures comply with IHG and UK Managed Hotels’ standards.
- Translate enquiries to maximise sales, occupancy and revenue, including up‑selling equipment, food & beverage and relevant hotel facilities where possible.
- Actively consider prevention, recovery and investigation of any complaints.
- Deliver excellent service to all guests and clients making enquiries or bookings at the hotel, via face‑to‑face and telephone meetings.
- Establish client requirements and identify how the hotel can facilitate their needs.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within a Reservations or Front Desk role in a similarly sized property.
- Experience delivering high‑quality customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise work tasks and maintain high accuracy.
You must meet the legal requirements to work in the UK.
