A fantastic opportunity has arisen on Ward L5 at Salford Care organisation.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Housekeeper to provide efficient support.
L5 is a 24 bedded ward providing care for geriatric patients.
The post provides an exciting challenge to the successful candidate and gives the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the needs of patients, multi-disciplinary team and relatives.
You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise across multi agencies and multi-disciplinary departments.
Experience of working with the general public is essential.
The ability to work independently and adapt to an environment of changing priorities is an essential component to consistently facilitate a patient focused approached.

Main duties of the jobWe require a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as the Housekeeper on L5 s role includes the undertaking of daily organisation, maintaining stock levels, providing meals to the patients and cleanliness of the environment.
You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will be happy to assist you as settle within the team. Regular feedback and one-to-one will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.
Duties include stocking up, maintenance of equipment, also including general housekeeping of the unit. It is essential that you are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, IT, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification Qualifications Knowledge , Training & Experience- Previous catering experience
- Experience of dealing with the public
- Experience of working in a health care setting
- Experience of working in a hospital environment
- Basic IT skills
