Are you a senior client service leader with deep medical affairs expertise? Our client, a leading medical communications agency, is seeking a Client Service Director to lead and grow high-value programmes for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
This role offers the chance to shape scientific strategy, publication plans, and medical education programmes, while driving excellence in delivery across multi-channel medical affairs initiatives.
The Role
* Serve as the senior client contact for medical affairs accounts, providing strategic guidance on publications, congress, and advisory boards
* Lead multi-work stream medical communications projects, ensuring scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality output.
* Manage budgets, forecasting, and delivery timelines while driving operational efficiency across programmes.
* Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (medical, creative, digital) to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with client goals.
* Mentor and develop account and client service teams, fostering scientific understanding, strategic thinking, and professional growth.
You’ll Need
* 10+ years’ experience in medical affairs or medical communications, with a strong focus on scientific programme delivery.
* Proven experience managing large, complex accounts and guiding cross-functional teams
* Strong commercial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
* Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at senior levels.
* Leadership experience, coaching teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and impactful medical affairs programmes.
