About the Service
The Mental Health Liaison Service provides urgent assessment and care for patients in Bolton Urgent Care. The post holder supports the Liaison Practitioners in the section 136 waiting area, delivering direct nursing care and maintaining the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct nursing care to patients awaiting mental health assessment.
- Maintain cleanliness and layout of the waiting area.
- Carry out delegated duties from the shift coordinator.
- Support the urgent care team across 7 days a week, including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
• Experience with a wide range of patient demographics, including children and older adults.
• Ability to work 37.5 hours a week with shifts, weekends, bank holidays and nights.
• Willingness to work out of hours to meet patient needs.
