Extraordinary Days Every Day

At Cambian, you’re not just working - you’re shaping futures. As a Residential Support Worker, based within the Manchester region, every moment you spend with our young people (ages 8–18) helps them feel safe, valued and supported.

What You’ll Do
  • As a Residential Support Worker you will support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
  • Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
  • Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
  • Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It

We are a dual home based in North Manchester, with easy transport links to Manchester City Centre, Middleton and Oldham. The home comprises a porch area on entrance leading to hallway, living room, dining room and conservatory. The home has three bedrooms (two for the young people and one for staff on shift), an office, and a staff sleep room on the ground floor.

The home has been newly decorated and has pet tortoises cared for by the team and the young people. The home currently has two residents who have lived in the property for over two years and are very settled. The team works together in an empathetic and caring way to support the young people, using professional curiosity to understand risks and needs.

Safeguarding is the forefront of everything we do, and we provide a safe, nurturing and caring place for the young people to live and thrive. We also facilitate family time and welcome families into the home.
