We are looking to recruit a passionate and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Manchester. You will provide person‑centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in all aspects of everyday life and assist them in enjoying a wide range of activities. You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for a variety of people we support.

• Supervising, managing and mentoring a team of staff
• Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users
• Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities, both within and outside of their homes
• Providing personal care, administering medication and lone working
• Overseeing staff deployment and rotas and working in a flexible manner including some evenings and weekends
• Working closely with local multi‑disciplinary teams and community‑based agencies to provide holistic, wrap‑around support
• Facilitating service user engagement, involvement and peer support
• Ensuring robust methods of quality monitoring

Experience of supervising others is desirable; support can be tailored during probation to develop as a supervisor of others. Consistent supervision and access to training will be provided.

Probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days Annual Leave, company paid enhanced DBS, and training towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
