Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners – Trafford Talking Therapies
An opportunity has arisen to appoint Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners on a permanent contract within Trafford Talking Therapies. Trafford Talking Therapies is a well-established service with a history of high performance in the Talking Therapy sector and a reputation for providing a range of opportunities for staff to develop and maintain their own wellbeing. The service is committed to supporting staff members with professional development and invests in various CPD opportunities each year.
It offers flexible working within core hours and requires successful candidates to work a minimum of one evening per week. Candidates should be able to offer remote, video and telephone appointments in addition to face‑to‑face clinic appointments throughout Trafford.
The post holder will provide low‑intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions to people experiencing common mental health problems. The successful applicant will join an experienced team and benefit from close support of the management team and guidance of Senior PWP's. You will be employed within the Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust and benefit from being part of a large Foundation Trust and a local integrated network of mental health and wellbeing services.
Workingpattern
Full‑time. Flexible working. Compressed hours. Shift pattern includes Saturday (midnight to midnight) and any weekday after 8 pm and before 6 am, plus all time on Sundays and public holidays (midnight to midnight).
