Overview

The Hentges laboratory within the School of Biological Sciences wish to appoint a laboratory-based Research Associate to an exciting project exploring the “Impact of chaperone complex variants on congenital heart disease”.

• Modelling chaperone complex protein variants in human cell lines and zebrafish embryos
• Using affinity-coupled mass-spectrometry to determine the impact of chaperone protein variants on protein interactions
• Characterising cardiac development in zebrafish expressing chaperone protein variants
• Characterising cilia formation and function in zebrafish expressing chaperone protein variants
