Female Portuguese speaking PA needed for morning/evening support for sight-impaired lady in Salford. Contract Type:
Permanent. We are looking for a female, reliable, patient, and committed Personal Assistant (PA) to support a female client with sight impairment and diabetes in her own home.

• Provide safe, respectful, and person-centred care
• Assist with medication and eye drops as trained
• Monitor and report blood sugar levels
• Prepare light meals/snacks as required
• Support independence while ensuring safety
• Be punctual, reliable, and consistent
• The PA will provide support with daily living tasks, including:
• Support with morning and evening routines
• Medication support, including:
• Administering eye drops (evening)
• Supporting with medication boxes (hard to open)
• Diabetes management:
  Evening: blood sugar level check
• Liaising with district nurse as required
• Support with meal preparation
• Support with shopping
• Support to attend church
• Patient, reliable, and trustworthy
• Committed (not flaky)
• Flexible with hours
• Experienced supporting people with sight impairment
• Confident with medication support
• Able to cook simple meals
• Portuguese speaking (essential)
• Female PA preferred

• Experience in care or as a PA
• Medication training (or willingness to complete)
• Experience supporting people with diabetes
• Understanding of sight impairment support, Lives independently and uses public transport
• Non-smoker, no pets
