Finance Controller

Overview

The Opportunity:

An established and growing Accountancy business is seeking an Internal Finance Controller to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is keen to develop their career in finance within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

• Assist with the preparation of weekly group Profit & Loss statements
• Perform weekly bookkeeping across group companies using accounting software
• Record and reconcile company credit card transactions and associated receipts
• Issue customer invoices as required
• Assist in collating information for Direct Debit collections
• Monitor aged debt across the group and report to relevant managers
• Support internal audit processes by providing required financial information
• Complete administrative finance tasks and monitor financial transactions
• Assist with budget tracking, forecasts, and future cash flow monitoring

• Minimum Grade B in GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent)
• AAT part-qualified, Accounting & Finance graduate, or equivalent qualification
• Experience using Sage accounts software or a similar accounting system
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
