Financial Accountant

Overview

Financial Accountant | Manchester City Centre | Hybrid 2 days in the office | £55,000

I am delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, people centric organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant. This role will play a key part in delivering high quality financial reporting, robust governance and reliable statutory accounts for a large, complex organisation based in the heart of Manchester.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and producing statutory financial statements
• Providing technical accounting guidance and ensuring compliance with current standards
• Supporting external audit activity and high-quality external reporting
• Working collaboratively across Finance teams and with external partners
• Accurate reporting and strong governance needed to support major investment

• Fully ACA/ ACCA Qualified
• Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards
• Accuracy and attention to detail in preparing statements and working papers
• Experience of working with auditors or financial institutions
