Group Accountant

Forge Talent are pleased to be partnering with an existing client on an exciting opportunity for a Group Accountant to join a large and well-established organisation with a diverse portfolio of projects and investments. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting financial decision-making across multiple areas of the business.

This position will provide exposure to senior stakeholders and offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives within a fast-paced and growing organisation.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple legal entities.
• Assist with group consolidation and financial reporting processes.
• Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary to explain performance.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles across the business.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany balances.
• Assist with year-end statutory accounts preparation and audit support.
• Provide financial insight and support to operational and project teams.
• Support the continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting.

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant.
• Experience in management accounting, group reporting or financial accounting.
• Strong Excel and analytical capability.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage reporting across several entities.
• Comfortable working in a complex, multi-entity environment.
