Overview
Portfolio Credit Control are currently partnered with a reputable business based in the heart of Manchester. We are recruiting an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join a successful and expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a major player and clear career development.
Responsibilities- Take full responsibility for your own daily call schedule of overdue client accounts
- Handle payment and service queries principally by telephone, but also by email and letter
- Provide "Super Duper Service" when engaging with the client, handling client enquiries and recording notes on our systems to maintain accurate and timely records
- Process debit/credit card payments
- Liaise with Client Experience and Client Retention departments
- Drive greater collaboration with the Relationship Management team to reduce invoice payment times
- Review old debtor balances with the team and develop an action plan to reduce overdue balances
- Accountability for the overall performance of the team
- Adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent Client Engagement, Cash Collection, Rescheduling Arrears, Direct Debit coverage, Outbound Call targets, Debtor Days, Collection Efficiencies, Aged Debt movements
- Preference for picking up the phone and speaking to clients over emailing them
- Strong attendance and punctuality
