Interim Head of Compliance | 6 Months Initially | North West £100,000 - £120,000  Car Allowance | Hybrid working We are partnering exclusively with an exciting Financial Services client to appoint an Interim Head of Compliance , a key leadership position sitting within the Risk & Compliance function. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced compliance leader with true influence, visibility to create impact across the organisation.

As part of the Senior Management Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the Bank’s regulatory framework, ensuring the highest standards of governance, conduct and risk management The Opportunity The Head of Compliance will lead all aspects of regulatory compliance, and provide independent assurance to the Board that the regulatory control framework remains robust and fit for purpose. You’ll work closely with the Chief Risk Officer, MLRO, Board Committees and regulators, providing clear, expert guidance on all compliance and conduct matters

Key Responsibilities Manage the Bank’s Compliance function and ensure adherence to all current and future regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies and monitoring plans aligned to regulatory standards and good market practice. Provide independent oversight and reporting on conduct, compliance and financial crime risks (AML, CTF, anti-fraud, ABC). Support Board and senior leadership with expert compliance insight, challenge and assurance.

Lead 2nd line regulatory compliance activities, including assessments of new products and initiatives. Act as a senior leader within the organisation, contributing to strategic planning, governance, culture and operational direction. What We’re Looking For Experience in conduct and compliance within financial services. Strong technical understanding of the banking risk and compliance landscape. Proven experience influencing senior management and regulators.
