As a Finance Apprentice you’ll be based in the Tax Team.

You will learn to analyse complex financial data, provide valuable insights and strategic business advice, partner with key stakeholders and assist organisations in making sustainable financial decisions, audit financial statements and much more! A career as a taxation professional can be diverse and challenging; it’s not just about putting numbers into a spreadsheet. You’ll use technical knowledge, skills and experience to guide organisations and people to make responsible and sustainable financial decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an eagerness to learn and grow professionally and could take ownership of allocated projects to deliver high quality work with the appropriate timelines.

You also need to be flexible, adapting approaches to assist stakeholders to manage their conflicting priorities as circumstances change.

You will gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills whilst working towards the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) certification as well as the Level 7 apprenticeship standard. As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off‑the‑job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. As part of your off‑the‑job learning you may be required to travel to a training centre.

This location may differ from your primary work base. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel as part of the apprenticeship programme. You will be set goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies. You will build your skills over a 42‑month period, starting in September. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally. Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on‑the‑job training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.
