We are currently working with leading Big 4 Accountancy firm based in the North who are looking to make a Director hire in either Manchester or Leeds.

A well established team of 25 across the North working with a variety of clients across energy, retail, pharma, technology, education and the public sector.

Your new role:

• You'll be working on a challenging an exciting VAT advisory & compliance portfolio, supporting a range of corporate clients including large listed businesses through to SMEs.
• Work closely with the senior leadership team in VAT helping manage the portfolio and assist with continued growth.
• Manage, coaching and develop more junior staff members across the team and firm.

What you'll need to be successful:

• In-depth UK VAT technical knowledge with experience providing advisory and or compliance services.
• CTA, ACCA, ACA, ATT or qualified by experience
