Senior Accounts Payable Clerk – Purchase Ledger Clerk / Trafford Park – Eccles Area Manchester / Permanent Role / Salary £33,000 – £35,000 + Excellent Benefits / Full Time Office Based Role – No Hybrid Working / Excellent Working Conditions
NC Associates are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding PE-backed organisation based in Trafford Park near Eccles to help recruit an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk – Purchase Ledger Clerk who can support the Group Finance Manager and FD. This role plays an integral part within the finance team and requires a confident and experienced individual. As a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk you will manage the Purchase Ledger function from start to finish and must be comfortable in doing all duties associates within Purchase Ledger.

- Managing the Purchase Ledger function from start to finish
- Processing purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders, obtaining authorisation where necessary, coding to the system and resolving any queries
- Process payment runs and uploading payments onto the bank with the implementation of various processes to adhere to new compliance and governance structure
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Expenses processing & payments
- Supporting Credit Control when the team get busy as an overflow support.
To be successful in your application for this role MUST have the following experience
- Experience with in a similar role as a purchase ledger – accounts payable clerk
- End to end purchase ledger – accounts payable experience
- Good Excel skills
- Happy to work 5 days in the office
- Able to work well in a team and correspond with many other departments in the business
- Be super organised and have the ability to work in a start-up environment
- Show initiative and be proactive when it comes to problem solving
- Be a team player
