With a strong national presence and a reputation for high-quality client work, this is an opportunity to join an experienced, close-knit Tax Advisory team and play a key role in delivering complex and rewarding projects.

Your new role

As a Tax Manager
, you'll work closely with Tax Directors and Senior Managers
, supporting a varied portfolio of larger and more complex clients while delivering bespoke tax advisory work. You'll gain exposure across multiple areas of advisory and compliance - from business reorganisations to employee ownership and acquisition planning.

Key responsibilities
  • Working alongside Directors and Senior Managers to deliver high-quality advisory and compliance services
  • Advising OMBs on tax planning, acquisitions and disposals, share schemes, EOTs, and remuneration planning
  • Handling HMRC enquiries and investigations, reviewing junior advice, and conducting financial analysis and technical research
  • Acting as a technical resource for partner firms, providing email and phone support
  • Supporting, managing, and mentoring junior team members
To be successful in this role, you'll need
  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualification (with at least 3 years' PQE in Tax Practice)
  • Experience advising OMBs on corporation tax, income tax, and capital gains tax
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
  • Confidence to deliver technical advice and build long-term client relationships
  • (Exposure to VAT issues is a bonus, but not essential)
