Temporary Finance Supervisor

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Finance Supervisor to join our friendly, family‑run business on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a relaxed but professional environment and wants to make a real impact in a small finance team.

After your training period, you’ll work 3 days in the office and 2 from home

• Supporting the Finance Manager and operational finance staff.
• Reviewing month‑end tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Checking and authorising supplier and payroll payments when the FM is absent.
• Completing monthly finance tasks, including posting company credit card transactions and maintaining the fixed asset register.
• Assisting with other operational finance duties as needed.

• A financial qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA)
  or qualified by experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in a finance role.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• A solid work ethic and confident communication style.
