Legal Cashier

The Role

We are seeking a Legal Cashierto join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with little experience as a legal cashier as full training will be provided. You will be working closely with the Finance Manager and wider accounts team, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the firm.

• Assisting with processing account transactions
• Posting receipts and payments accurately on the accounting system
• Supporting bank reconciliations
• Assisting with billing and invoice processing
• Helping to ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
• Handling queries from fee earners and internal departments
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
• Supporting month-end and year-end procedures as required

• Full training provided in legal cashiering and SRA Accounts Rules
• Ongoing support and mentoring from experienced team members
• Opportunity to develop into a more senior legal cashier role over time

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good numerical and organisational skills
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
• A professional and confidential approach
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Already working in a law firm as a Legal Cashier
• Previous experience in accounting/Finance
