We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in Worsley that’s looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to its friendly finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive environment, values work-life balance, and wants stability.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in keeping the purchase ledger running smoothly, with responsibilities including:

Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently

Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes

Preparing supplier payment runs and ensuring invoices are paid on time

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

Handling supplier and internal queries via phone and email

Setting up new suppliers and maintaining accurate records

Processing expenses, company cards, and petty cash

Supporting the finance team at month-end with reports, accruals, and prepayments

What we’re looking for

This role would suit someone who is organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with numbers:

Highly experienced in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role (or similar)

Comfortable using Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and good time management

Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams
