Overview
THG Nutrition is building a Finance team that combines financial control with business partnership to translate numbers into strategy, insight, and action. This role sits at the heart of the Nutrition business, working across online brands, commercial teams, and senior leadership to drive trading performance, profitability, and growth. This is a high-impact opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership, build influence, and accelerate their career within a fast-growing consumer brand.
As a Financial Controller for Myprotein you will be accountable for delivering robust financial control and delivering clear, actionable insights to inform trading decisions and strategy.
Responsibilities- Own month-end processes and ensure robust financial control with timely, accurate reporting.
- Deliver accurate management reporting to inform fast, smart decisions and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Partner with commercial teams to identify profit improvement opportunities, challenge assumptions, and track initiatives that deliver measurable results.
- Lead month-end excellence across the Nutrition division and support scalable finance processes.
- Shape insights from data to drive trading decisions and strategy, beyond just producing outputs.
- Champion continuous improvement by streamlining processes, strengthening controls, and building scalable finance systems.
- Develop and coach team members to deliver against their objectives and build capability across the function.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial control, ideally in retail, FMCG, or a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link financial performance to strategic decisions.
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large, complex data sets.
- Detail-driven, analytical, and proactive with a clear bias for action.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where pace and precision matter.
