I'm currently working with a Big 4 accountancy firm in the North that is looking to hire a strong Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager for their private tax team, based in Manchester or Leeds.

• Deliver a variety of tax advisory services to privately owned businesses, wealthy individuals/families, and private equity portfolios across the UK.
• Support the overall national practice, handling both corporate and private client tax queries as a Senior Manager / Manager.
• Manage a broad portfolio, gaining exposure to diverse tax advisory projects involving well-known businesses and individuals across the UK.
• Supervise and coach junior staff, working closely with Directors and Partners.
• Maintain high-level tax knowledge in the UK and internationally.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships within the firm and handle key client engagements.

• Opportunity to work with some of the UK's biggest brands, businesses, individuals, and families.
• Broader advisory experience due to the team setup.
• Work for a Big 4 Accountancy firm.

• Practice-trained UK tax professional (ACA/ACCA/CTA).
• Experience working with privately owned businesses, business owners, families, or private equity.
• Proven team management skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sound general accounting knowledge.
