Management Accountant – 6 Month FTC

Salary: £45,000–£50,000 (pro rata)
Location: Radcliffe, Manchester Business Size: £16m turnover Reporting to: Divisional Financial Controller

Are you an experienced Management Accountant who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced SME environment? This £16 million turnover business, based in Radcliffe, is looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join them on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the Divisional FC with day-to-day finance operations and month-end responsibilities.

• Support the production of monthly management accounts
• Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide insightful financial reporting to the Divisional FC and wider business
• Support year-end and audit requirements
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Work closely with operational teams to provide accurate financial information
• Contribute to process improvements across the finance function

• Immediately available
• Part-qualified or qualified by experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA advantageous but not essential)
• Strong management accounting background in a UK SME
• Capable of working autonomously and managing deadlines
• Confident, proactive, and able to communicate well with non-finance stakeholders
• Previous experience within an SME or similar fast-paced environment preferred

• 6-month FTC
