A leading international business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its UK team in a newly created role. This position will support the UK Finance Director in delivering robust financial processes, compliance, and reporting, ensuring accurate information is available to support business decisions and growth.

Role Overview Reporting to the UK Finance Director, you will work closely with local finance partners, regional leaders, operations, and the Group Finance team overseas. You will play a key role in streamlining finance processes, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and providing actionable financial insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities Manage month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and ongoing performance analysis. Support statutory reporting, audit preparation, and income tax compliance. Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations to inform leadership decisions. Develop financial models for cash flow management, performance tracking, and strategic initiatives. Identify trends, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

Lead finance-related projects and initiatives that enhance efficiency and strengthen controls. Skills and Experience Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audit processes Proven experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits Ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in standard office software Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Desirable Experience Experience in implementing improvements or changes within a finance function Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or Quick Books Previous exposure to financial reporting within larger, multi-site organisations Experience contributing to strategic decision-making or business performance analysis 3 years of post-qualification experience in a professional accounting role
