Finance Director (PE backed growth SME) Manchester £120,000 + suite of benefits (incl. deal bonus)

The Opportunity

Are you a modern-thinking, motivated, commercially aware finance professional seeking a role as FD within a fast-growth SME?

You'll be joining a PE backed business currently operating at the £20m t/o level and looking to double in size over the next 3-4 years (and achieve successful exit).

You will be the primary finance contact for the group, working in close partnership with the MD and Commercial Director.

There is so much to go at. A hands on but strategically focused FD role within a business that is delivering superb results.

You'll be someone who loves being part of fast paced, investment backed growth. Someone who can embed financial controls and sophisticated reporting which will suit the needs of the boardroom as the business continues to expand.

You'll be commercially savvy and someone who prides themselves on an ability to spot opportunity for revenue growth and enhanced profitability.

You will be:

• A hands on but strategically aware finance professional operating at number 1 level (Head of Finance or FD currently).
• Able to demonstrate clear ability to lead finance for a growth business.
• A natural business partner able to present and influence at board / investor level.
• Someone with a high degree of commercial acumen.
• A proactive individual with clear drive and ambition.
• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified.

This will be extremely valuable experience - leading the finance function, enhancing controls and reporting, driving the business toward £40m+ turnover and getting / keeping the business sale ready to ensure a smooth cycle completion over the next 3-5 years.
