Tax Investigations Manager/Senior Manager – Manchester City Centre
£50,000 - £85,000 + Benefits + Bonus
We are currently working with a leading national tax advisory firm who are looking to bring in a new Manager or Senior Manager to their tax investigations/disputes team. Your new firm works with a range of high-net-worth individuals who have a very complex portfolio, providing exposure to a range of technically challenging projects.
Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
- Service Delivery: Provide high-quality Tax Investigation/dispute services to a range of HNWI and UHNWIs across the UK and internationally.
- Technical Delivery: COP9, COP8, HMRC Nudge letters and other supporting investigation and dispute work.
- Problem Solving: Deliver clear and concise solutions to administrative and analytical issues related to HMRC enquiries.
- Business Development: Collaborate with other members of the team and assist with the overall growth of the Manchester office.
- You'll need to come from a well established tax investigation/disputes background, or have experience with HNWIs and exposure to investigations & disputes.
- Ideally you'll have a professional qualification including a CTA, ACA, ACCA or significant experience.
- Relationship and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role given the nature of your clients.
- Excellent technical skills along with the ability to write clear and concise tax advisory reports, along with experience working closely with HMRC.
