Finance Business Partner

A well-established manufacturing organisation with a strong UK footprint is seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join its finance team during a period of operational change and transformation. With a strong focus on performance, cost control and operational decision-making, the business is looking for a commercially minded finance professional who can partner closely with senior stakeholders across production and support functions.

This is a 6-month assignment, offering a day rate of up to £450, with a hybrid working model based in Manchester.

As Interim Finance Business Partner, you will support the senior finance team in delivering high-quality financial insight and control across key operational and manufacturing functions. Working closely with plant leadership and senior management, you will be responsible for :

• Providing senior-level financial commentary and reporting across manufacturing and operational cost centres
• Supporting strategic and operational decisions through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment appraisals
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes with a strong focus on manufacturing performance
• Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior operational and leadership teams
• Ensuring robust financial control, transparency, and cost governance across the manufacturing environment
• Collaborating with operations, supply chain, and procurement to align financial planning with production strategy

You will be professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent), with proven experience in a manufacturing or operationally focused finance role. A strong understanding of cost drivers, margins, and operational KPIs is essential, alongside the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and challenge performance. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-led environment and able to add value quickly.

• Competitive daily rate of up to £450 per day

• Hybrid working with up to 3 days per week on-site in Manchester
