Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions;
Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands.

The Finance Systems Transformation team will:
- Standardise and streamline processes to reduce costs and enhance control
- Reduce manual intervention and leverage technology
- Improve operational service levels and drive business performance.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager (Finance & Tech) to join our growing team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in project management within the finance and technology sectors. The successful candidate will support the Finance Systems & Project Manager in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of finance and technology projects.
This role involves assisting with project coordination, documentation, reporting, and various administrative duties that are crucial to project success.
Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and meeting minutes.
- Help track project progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Support the creation of presentations and reports for project stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
- Support the Finance Systems & Project Manager with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, coordinating resources, and maintaining project management tools.
Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a point of contact for project-related queries and information.
- Liaise with project team members to gather updates and ensure information is current.
- Support project managers and the Finance Systems & Project Manager Lead in daily project coordination activities.
Process and Standards Support:
- Help ensure project teams adhere to the established PMO methodologies and standards.
- Assist in maintaining the Finance Systems & Project Manager central repository of project information and best practices.
- Contribute ideas for improving project processes and tools.
Technical
Skills:
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a strong desire to learn.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
